The motive? She had flaunted her massive $20 million Bitcoin and Ethereum balance online just months earlier. In November 2024, she posted a screenshot of her holdings, asking: “Help! Do I sell or hold my BTC?”. In her post on X, she recalled the moment one of the masked men realized he was shot, saying: “He screams ‘I got shot, I got shot’…”

Amouranth later revealed a critical detail—she led the attackers into a different building on purpose. It was part of a plan to trap them and turn the situation around. Her husband’s presence—and loaded weapon—made all the difference. Without it, the situation could have ended far worse.
