Why Harry Potter Star Jessie Cave Is Banned From Conventions
I guess she isn’t family-friendly
Jessie Cave, the actress who played Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter films, marked six months on OnlyFans and detailed the successes and setbacks of creating hair-focused content on the subscription platform.
Cave opened her OnlyFans in March and said she originally launched the account to help her family of six and to fund home improvements.

In the Sept. 17 essay Cave reiterated that her content contains “no spells, no nudity” and said she shares sensual videos and anecdotes about her hair. She described unexpected professional consequences after learning she was not booked for a Harry Potter convention because organizers associated OnlyFans with porn. Cave wrote that the decision was baffling given that many convention actors have appeared in television and film scenes that included nudity or sex scenes.

Cave added that she was not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions, noting that a new cast and a changing era mean different opportunities. She also said she has done conventions for more than 15 years and that she already has enough photos and wizard memorabilia.
The actress described the practical difficulties of producing hair content, calling the hunt for new ideas “exhausting” and “competitive.” She said the effort has affected her sense of self, writing that her self-worth has become entwined with her statistics on the platform.
Creating material for subscribers has also bled into Cave’s family life. She recalled an incident when her daughter found a pair of opera gloves that Cave uses in some videos. Her daughter, who typically sees Cave in casual clothing, asked why the gloves were there. Cave said she deflected the question and did not tell her daughter that she sometimes plaits her hair while wearing the gloves because some subscribers enjoy seeing her fingers twirl her hair.

Cave also shared specific content experiments that failed to connect with her audience. At the request of followers she dipped her hair into custard, an attempt that did not make her feel sexy and “did not sell so well,” she wrote. Another shoot she described as Ophelia-inspired resulted in a series of mishaps. Cave said roses kept floating into her hair and hiding, the yellow nightdress she wore created air bubbles that altered the appearance of her stomach, and her nipples were more visible than intended. During that session a plant pot fell on her head and her boyfriend caught the moment on camera.
